The ICS-6280 Industrial-Grade Network Appliance is designed to provide secure networking in the toughest industrial environments. Powered by Intel® Atom™ x6000 series processors (formerly Elkhart Lake), the ICS-6280 delivers a substantial performance increase over previous generations while also providing application-specific benefits, such as remote device management technology for Industrial IoT networks.
Along with a wide operating temperature range (-40°C ~ 75°C) and wide voltage support (9Vdc ~ 48Vdc), the ICS-6280 provides dense I/O supporting Wi-Fi and cellular networks. The ICS-6280 also offers additional security features such as NGFW and UTM, together with hardware-based features such as an isolated COM port and redundant power capabilities, to provide consistent, secure, and reliable networking solutions.
Cybersecurity
The ICS-6280’s dedicated I/O, featuring support for 2 pairs of LAN Bypass, ensures connection integrity. It also provides hardware-based cryptography through onboard Intel® Platform Trust Technology to protect the firmware.

With a redundant 9Vdc~48Vdc power input range and an ESD-protected isolated COM port, the ICS-6280 supports 24/7operation, providing a converged solution covering both OT and IT systems for Industry 4.0 applications.
Smart Infrastructure
With DIN-rail and wall-mounting kits, the ICS-6280 can be easily installed in machine cabinets for integration with existing systems. This is beneficial for heavy industries such as energy, oil and gas, chemical refining, and transportation.
SCADA Control System
A wealth of connectors, combined with wireless network support, enables time-synchronized data acquisition, monitoring, and reporting for SCADA functionality. Additionally, the ICS-6280’s virtualization capability enables more agile computing.
