The UTS-404 is a USB to 4-port RS-232 serial adapter designed to provide a PC, thin client or server with instant COM port expansion via the Universal Serial Bus (USB).
The UTS-404 provides the scalability required to adapt quickly to new USB technologies. Multiple modules can be added to a single USB interface, allowing RS232 connectivity to be added as needed. The complete product range offers multiple options for expanding the network in line with your requirements.
With USB Plug-and-Play, simply connect the device and follow the installation wizard instructions. There is no need to configure card slots, I/O addresses, IRQ jumpers, DMA or other parameters when connecting devices. The system recognises the device and automatically installs the drivers. The UTS-404 is an ideal solution for expanding applications.
