The USB-HUB4K is a USB2.0 hub compliant with the Universal Serial Bus (USB) Specifications Revision 2.0 and operates at speeds of up to 480Mbps. It provides 4 downstream-facing ports with standard Type-A USB2.0 connectors. It supports screw locking on both the upstream (USB type B) and downstream (USB type A) connectors when used with screw-lock USB cables. This prevents accidental disconnection of the USB cables.
With the NEC uPD720114 USB2.0 controller, the hub remains backward compatible when any downstream port is connected to a USB1.1-compliant device or when the upstream port is connected to a USB1.1-compliant host.
The USB-HUB4K can also operate in bus-powered mode without an external AC power adapter. This is convenient for low-power USB devices, as no additional power supply is required. Simply plug it in to begin using it. The external DC jack enables self-powered operation when more power is required across the 4 downstream ports.
