The Kvaser Air Bridge Light HS M12 is a configuration-free wireless CAN bridge that uses a dust- and water-resistant M12 connector to connect CAN networks. It provides exceptionally low and predictable latency compared with other wireless technologies and a highly robust signal, even over long distances.

Comprising a pre-configured pair of plug-and-play units with integrated antennas and rugged enclosures, the Kvaser Air Bridge Light HS M12 ensures rapid CAN data exchange in environments or situations where a wired connection is unsuitable or challenging, for example, systems involving mobile or rotating machines connected via CAN.

Using a proprietary 2,4 GHz wireless protocol based on frequency hopping and diversity, the Kvaser Air Bridge Light HS achieves predictable latency without compromising stability or range. This makes the Air Bridge effective in infrastructure and control applications where precise message delivery times are essential, as well as a viable alternative to optical cables in some situations.
