Neousys' PB-2500J series is an innovative power backup solution for demanding industrial applications. Using supercapacitor technology, it provides an operating temperature range of -25 to 65°C and extremely high durability. Compared with traditional battery-based UPS systems, the PB-2500J series maintains exceptional reliability in extreme-temperature environments and eliminates the drawback of battery performance degradation over time.
The PB-2500J series incorporates eight 100F supercapacitors that provide 2500 watt-seconds of stored energy to keep your computer running during a power outage; depending on the system’s power consumption, backup time may range from seconds to minutes. What makes the PB-2500J innovative is its patented CAP Sensing technology, which uses an onboard processor that continuously monitors power consumption and adapts to the system. During a power outage, it maximizes system operating time by estimating the optimal moment to initiate system shutdown and prevent data loss.
The PB-2500J series is available in two form factors: PB-2500J-PCIe is a plug-and-play PCIe card designed specifically for Neousys Nuvo-6000 systems (except Nuvo-6108GC/ IGN), while PB-2500J-CSM is designed for the Nuvo-5000 and Nuvo-7000 series.
For industrial embedded controllers, stability and the prevention of data loss during power outages are equally important.
