The PB-4600J-SA is a standalone power backup module that protects a box-PC against power outages. Using state-of-the-art supercapacitor technology, it can operate in harsh environments from -25 to 65°C and offers extremely high durability, with a service life of over 10 years.
The PB-4600J-SA comprises four 370F/ 3.0V supercapacitors, which offer a much longer service life than their 2.7V counterparts, and stores 4600 watt-second of energy to provide extended additional operating time for system backup. Thanks to Neousys' patented CAP energy management technology, it can reliably supply 180W of power to the back-end system and automatically manage startup and shutdown without installing additional drivers / software. In addition to its UPS-like power backup mode, it also offers two advanced ignition control modes for in-vehicle use. The PB-4600J-SA can operate with either a standard box-PC or an in-vehicle controller to provide a stable power supply and implement a user-configurable power-on / power-off delay according to the IGN signal input.
Featuring multiple operating modes, automatic shutdown control and up to 180W output power, the PB-4600J-SA can operate with most off-the-shelf box-PCs. With features such as maintenance-free energy storage and uninterruptible power supply, the PB-4600J-SA can prevent data loss in the connected back-end system during power outages in harsh industrial environments!

* To achieve a lifespan of > 10 years under 24/7 operation at 65°C, charge the PB-9250J-SA to the 6525J energy level using the 4.8x SuperCAP Lifetime Extension setting (refer to the user manual for details). Once the rated lifetime or cycle life has been reached, the supercapacitor capacity may decrease by up to 30% and the ESR may increase by up to 100% from its initial values.** Backup time for uninterruptible operation may be reduced when sustaining a back-end system with high power consumption. Please consult Neousys Technology if your computer accepts only constant-voltage input.
*** To ensure that the PB-9250J and PB-4600J power backup functions operate as intended, contact Neousys Technology technical support if the connected back-end system accepts only constant-voltage input.
