The PS810 is a versatile 8-port converter that converts serial signals to Ethernet and also functions as a device server. The HelloDevice Pro Series supports RS232, RS422 or RS485 on each serial port, allowing virtually any asynchronous serial device to be accessed over a network. With a broad range of broadband network connectivity protocols, such as DHCP, PPPoE and Dynamic DNS, legacy serial devices can be easily managed over broadband Internet using a DSL or cable modem connection.

The PS810 includes software security features such as SSH, SSL, IP address filtering and HTTPS. The PS810 also provides hardware surge protection on its serial ports. The built-in Dynamic DNS protocol of the HelloDevice Pro Series enables users to access serial devices through their domain names. Thanks to its embedded Linux OS, the PS810 provides an intuitive user interface similar to that of Linux machines, along with full-featured system management functionality.
