Industrial 4-Port RS-232 to USB 2.0 High-Speed Converter with Locking Feature
The UTS-402CK-SI is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 combo-to-USB 2.0 serial adapter designed to provide PCs, thin clients or servers with instant COM port expansion via Universal Serial Bus (USB).
It supports a screw-locking feature on the upstream (USB type B) connector for use with screw-lock USB cables. This prevents the USB cable from being disconnected accidentally.
The UTS-402CK-SI provides the scalability needed to adapt quickly to new USB technologies. Multiple modules can be added to a single USB interface, allowing RS-232 connectivity to be added as needed.
With the USB Plug-and-Play feature, simply connect the device and follow the Install Wizard instructions. There is no need to configure card slots, I/O addresses, IRQ jumpers, DMA or other parameters when connecting the devices. The system recognises the device and installs the drivers automatically. The UTS-402CK-SI is an ideal solution for expanding applications.
