The UTS-408AK-SI is an 8S RS232-to-USB serial adapter designed to provide instant COM port expansion for PCs, thin clients, or servers via the Universal Serial Bus (USB).
It supports screw locking for the upstream (USB Type B) connector when used with screw-lock USB cables. This prevents the USB cables from being disconnected accidentally.
The UTS-408AK-SI provides the scalability required to adapt quickly to new USB technologies. Multiple modules can be added to a single USB interface, allowing RS232 connectivity to be added as needed. The complete product line offers a wide range of options to expand the network as requirements grow.
With the USB Plug-and-Play feature, simply connect the device and follow the Install Wizard instructions.
