The USB-HUB4K3 is a USB 3.0 hub compliant with the Universal Serial Bus 3.0 (USB 3.0) Specifications Revision 1.0 and operates at speeds of up to 5Gbps. It provides 4 downstream ports with standard Type-A USB 3.0 connectors. It features screw locking on both the upstream (USB type B) and downstream (USB type A) connectors when used with screw-lock USB cables. This prevents accidental disconnection of the USB cables.
With its built-in single-chip USB3.0 controller, the hub is backward compatible when the downstream port is connected to a USB 1.1- or USB 2.0-compliant device, or when the upstream port is connected to a USB 1.1- or USB 3.0-compliant host.
The USB-HUB4K3 can also operate in bus-powered mode without an external AC power adapter. This is convenient for low-power USB devices, as no additional power supply is required. An external DC jack is also provided when more power is required across the 4 downstream ports.
As USB is the most widely used external interface for connecting devices to PCs, the USB-HUB4K3 provides an ideal solution for immediately expanding the number of available USB ports.
