The Neousys IGT-31, equipped with the AM3352 from Texas Instruments' Sitara AM335x family, is an ARM-based Box PC designed for Industrial IoT Gateway and Industry 4.0 applications. As required for industrial applications, the IGT-31 is supplied as a ready-to-use system with Debian preinstalled and complies with common industrial certifications covering CE/FCC, shock and vibration. It has a power input range of 10 to 25 VDC and a wide operating temperature range of -25°C to 70°C, ensuring that the IGT-31 continues to operate under harsh industrial conditions.

The IGT-31 IoT Gateway supports PoE Powered Device (PD) mode, meaning that it can be powered through a LAN cable from PoE Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) while simultaneously transferring data over the same cable. The IGT-31 provides I/Os suitable for a range of industrial-grade sensors. It features one USB2.0 port, two 10/100M LAN ports, one configurable COM port (RS-232/422/485) and an optional CAN bus port. In addition to these ports, there are 8 built-in isolated digital input channels that accept discrete signals from various sensors or buttons/switches. There are also 2 built-in isolated digital output channels for controlling actuators and indicators.

For communications, the IGT-31 has a mini PCIe slot and a USIM holder, allowing it to transmit acquired data and system status via 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi (mini PCIe Wi-Fi module). An opening on top of the IGT-31 allows users to install the wireless module's SMA connector. For storage, the IGT-30 series has two microSDHC slots, one internal and one external. This design allows users to separate system data from user data and can expedite OS deployment for mass production. Inherited from the IGT-20, the IGT-30 series provides six LED indicators and two user-programmable function buttons. The function buttons can serve as controls for the IGT-31, eliminating the need for external input devices such as a keyboard/mouse.
