The Nuvo-8108GC is a rugged GPU computing Edge AI platform with an industrial-grade design and in-vehicle features. Designed specifically to support a high-end 250W NVIDIA® graphics card, it delivers tremendous GPU power of up to 14 TFLOPS in FP32 for emerging GPU-accelerated Edge computing applications, such as autonomous driving, vision inspection and surveillance/ security.
The Nuvo-8108GC is powered by Intel® Xeon® E or 9th/ 8th-Gen Core™ CPUs (up to 8-core/ 16-thread), coupled with the workstation-grade Intel® C246 chipset to support up to 128 GB of ECC or non-ECC DDR4 memory. The system incorporates an internal 2.5" HDD/ SSD tray and one hot-swappable 2.5" HDD/ SSD tray for easy replacement. It also includes an M.2 2280 NVMe socket for fast read/ write performance. Its front-accessible GbE and USB 3.1 Gen1/ Gen2 ports feature screw-lock mechanisms to secure cable connections. In addition to the PCIe x16 slot (8-lanes) for GPU installation, the Nuvo-8108GC has two additional PCIe x8 slots (4-lanes) and one PCIe x16 slot (8-lanes) for expansion cards, extending functionality such as data collection, analytics and communication.
The Nuvo-8108GC features a new power-delivery design that accepts 8~48V wide-range DC input and handles the demanding power requirements of a 250W GPU. Together with built-in ignition control, this allows it to be deployed in a vehicle and powered directly through the vehicle's electrical system. Mechanically, the Nuvo-8108GC incorporates Neousys' patented heat-dissipation design*, damping brackets* and patent-pending GPU press bar, keeping it stable and rock-solid under various conditions. The Nuvo-8108GC is Neousys' response to the never-ending demand for TFLOPS in industrial GPU platforms. ** For i7-8700 and i7-9700E running in 65W mode, the maximum operating temperature must be limited to 50°C, and thermal throttling may occur under a sustained full load. Users can configure CPU power in the BIOS to achieve a higher operating temperature.
