This fanless solution passed 5G verification at the ChungHwa Telecom 5G Laboratory in Taiwan in May 2020.

The QBiX-Pro-KBLB7100HD-A1 is the first embedded system to support a 5G module in the industrial market. It enables the use of 5G features: eMMB (Enhanced Mobile Broadband), mMTC (Massive Machine Type Communications) and URLLC (Ultra-reliable and Low Latency Communications), allowing devices to be connected and data to be transmitted within the operating environment without time lag. This enhances "smart factories", including industrial automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning and IoT applications. It covers processes from initial supply management through logistics, ultimately allowing robots and equipment to be operated, controlled and monitored remotely over a 5G network, with the necessary repair or maintenance actions taken as required.

It is equipped with an Intel® Core™ i3-7100U Processor, providing stability and high performance for the embedded system. Its DIN rail mounting design and 5G mobile network enable a more flexible and efficiently planned workspace layout. It is suitable for various environments, with a 9V~36V wide-range power input and an operating temperature of 0°C~50°C. The system provides IEC 60068-2-64 vibration resistance of 5 Grms with SSD @5~500Hz, random, meeting the industrial standard.
