EG5101 Industrial 4G Edge Computing Gateway
The Robustel EG5101 is a new generation of industrial gateways for Edge Computing, supporting 4G CAT1 mobile networks for "backhaul" and featuring a complete Debian 11 (bullseye)-based operating system capable of supporting thousands of existing or new ARMv8-based applications (compatible with Raspberry Pi).
Robustel’s EG5101 is a new industrial Edge Computing gateway supporting a 4G Cat 1 network for cellular backhaul, with a fully fledged Debian 11(bullseye)-based operating system capable of supporting thousands of existing or new ARMv7-based applications (Raspberry Pi compatible).
EG5101 supports Docker for easy application deployment and benefits from ‘RobustOS Pro’ – Robustel’s latest router OS, with enhanced cybersecurity, an advanced GUI and a wide range of software features, including VPNs, Smart Roaming, SMS remote control and more. With a 792 MHz i.MX 6ULL CPU, EG5101 can be used as a combination of cellular router + embedded PC for IoT applications.
RCMS is Robustel’s free router monitoring service and is fully compatible with the EG5101. It allows customers to view an overview of their routers’ locations quickly and easily on a map.
Features such as data usage, signal strength, current network and much more can be viewed on a per-router basis. Over-the-air updates are supported for firmware, router configuration and applications, providing essential protection if anything is not quite right during deployment.
