STM-501C Modbus TCP to Serial RTU/ASCII Gateway
STM-501C - Gateway Modbus TCP para Serial RTU/ASCII

The STM-501C is a MODBUS gateway that allows legacy MODBUS RTU/ASCII devices to operate on a MODBUS TCP network. It allows either a MODBUS serial master or slave to communicate with a MODBUS TCP slave or master.
Modbus TCP masters to Modbus RTU/ASCII slaves: The STM-501C allows multiple MODBUS TCP masters to communicate with a MODBUS serial network. Since a MODBUS serial network can handle only one query at a time, queries from different masters are queued and processed one by one.
Modbus RTU/ASCII master to Modbus TCP slaves: When the STM-501C functions as a gateway between a MODBUS RTU/ASCII master and MODBUS TCP slaves, the STM-501C can connect to up to 8 MODBUS TCP slaves. Users can specify a UID range for each MODBUS TCP slave.
Inactive timeout: The STM-501C provides an inactivity timeout that allows users to specify a period after which the TCP/IP connection is terminated if there is no network activity. If the connection is not terminated, it will occupy a connection slot and prevent another connection from being established.
Configuration tools: User-friendly management software provides an easy way to configure the STM-501C. It can discover all serial device servers within a local area network, regardless of their subnet. It can also locate a serial device server with a specific IP address over a wide area network. The STM-501C can also be configured through its console port or a telnet connection. The STM-501C provides a web interface that allows users to configure it with a web browser.
